What is Stress?
As we adjust to accomodate life's constant changes a certain ammount of wear takes place within the body and mind. This internal "wear and tear" is stress and it has physical and emotional effects. The effects of stress can be either positive or negative. Positive stress is that which incites us to look at things from a new perspective and to make needed changes in our lives. However, when our stress level becomes too high the effect is negative. Feelings of distrust, rejection, anger, and depression are common when we are under too much stress.
